Street Photography

Something I’ve learned recently is that street photography can sometimes be undermined. I’m sure this is because it’s normally seen as someone walking along the street pointing and shooting with their camera. However, as many great photographers (ie. William Klein, Lisette Model) have proven, it’s about catching the right moment at the right time. It can be a look of a person, a splash from a puddle or something as simple as the way a car could be parked. Like any other photography genre, it’s about how the individual sees the world. I think this is what interests me so much with street photography. It’s often the things that seem so normal that only after, when you look back on a photo, you realize that there’s something intriguing or quirky about it.
I’ll be focusing on marketing my street and architecture in these upcoming months, as made to order sizes or already printed and framed wall art.
